Swiss Re's Asset Management receives the highest rating for responsible investments the second year in a row

Swiss Re scores again among the top 15% of all signatories of the United Nations' Principles for Responsible Investments

In 2007 Swiss Re signed the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), an initiative in partnership with UNEP FI and the UN Global Compact. Once a year the United Nations' PRI initiative releases an assessment on the development of its signatories. In their most recent assessment, Swiss Re has again scored the highest rating of A+ for its overarching ("Strategy and Governance") approach to responsible investing.

The PRI were founded at the New York Stock Exchange in April 2006. Swiss Re has been a signatory since 2007. The PRI's mission is to achieve a sustainable global financial system, which they see as a necessity for long-term value creation. They do that by encouraging investors to use responsible investments to enhance returns and better manage risks. Over the years, PRI has become the leading global investors’ platform for learning, engagement and the sharing of best practices. Since 2012 the organisation assesses the development of its 1750 signatories.
